Jovan is a very popular little boy, with many friends his age. His nursery class is held under a mango tree. He says that he wants to learn to read, and his teachers say his is excited about going to school and pays good attention during lessons. Jovan's father and mother have passed away from HIV/AIDS, so he boards at his school. He is especially interested in science, and would like to become a doctor!

TRUE Africa meets with each sponsored child, every year. When TRUE Team members are not in Uganda, the children are cared for by a local, Ugandan social workers.
