Sarah is from Buwooya, a rural village in Buiwke District, Uganda. She is a single orphan, as her father died many years ago. With six siblings, she lives with her mother who is too sick (HIV) to work. Her favorite subject is chemistry and she has worked hard to successfully complete secondary school very well to prepare for her ambition of becoming a nurse. This year (2016) she has been accepted at the Lugazi School of Nursing for a two-year nursing program.
However, she needs a co-sponsor to join with her current sponsor (Stacy & Rick, of WA) to support her vocational training to become a nurse. This training will enable her to support herself and her family in the near future.
