After completing Secondary School (11th grade), students pursue Senior Secondary School (12th & 13th grade) for University preparation OR pursue vocational training (mechanic, construction, seamstress, etc).
TRUE Africa meets with each child individually, every year, to ensure that their needs are being fully met. Each child is also cared for by a local Ugandan social worker during their sponsorship.
$600 a year provides a child with full room and board, core subjects textbooks, basic clothing, school supplies, medications and access to medical clinic, and care from a Ugandan social worker.
